Inspired by nature, RubyKite create contemporary mixed media paintings on plaster; exploring unique textures that translate beautifully on to silk and cashmere scarves and accessories. Both designers love exploring the tactile qualities that the plaster creates with intricate textures and marks that become hugely abstracted when scaled large over their wearable art.

This is our Tapestry large silk scarf printed to 110cm x 110cm on 100% silk with silk chiffon edging.
The image is taken from my “Tapestry” painting onto cast plaster; creating wonderfully abstract textures on a large scale. A patchwork of moss, teal, terracotta, indigo and rose combine to create a real statement piece.
