- Pippa Ryan – The Pips – 2025 : Bold, graphic, and steeped in history, The Pips is a series of four assemblage artworks inspired by the iconic suits of playing cards—spades, hearts, clubs, and diamonds. carefully crafted from a selection of vintage and antique curios in the classic red and black hues of playing cards, each piece in this collection is a nostalgic tribute to the joy of games and the stories hidden within them.

Pippa Ryan – A Slice In Time – Composition 5 – 2023 :
At 1.2 meters wide, this tremendous artwork is a real statement piece and contains over 150 exquisite larger vintage keepsakes and antique items in subtle black, white, silver and gold colour slices. From gleaming police helmet finials, diamanté buckles and mother-of-pearl game counters to labelled silver salt shaker lids and vintage glass syringes. There are items to captivate and intrigue every time you look.

Pippa Ryan – Pocket Collections – DIY Enthusiast – 2024 :
There’s no job too big for this DIY enthusiast and with a work jacket pocket full of bits and bobs, there is no stopping him. With hinges to oil and valves and bulbs to replace, plus glue and string for those trickier jobs, there’s a full afternoon’s work ahead of him.
The Pocket Collections is designed to transport the viewer into the lives of eight different people through the items they carry in their pockets, from a mischievous school boy, through a Victorian lady detective to a DIY enthusiast, there will be an arrangement to capture everyone’s imagination.

Designed and made in 2024, this series of three works are influenced by the ebb and flow of water, how it changes from wave to wave and we do not know what to expect next. Featuring curving lines which flow from one artwork to the next these pieces are a departure from my usual style and are bold, colourful and playful.

Designed and made in 2022, the Colour Series is a celebration of everyday vintage, antique and found keepsakes brought together for their colour, but also in subtle themes. Composition in Green showcased our natural world and a love of the outdoors.

Pippa Ryan – Mini Museum – Washing Day –2021 :
Washing Day is a striking, one-of-a-kind artwork made from a collection of vintage clothing pegs. I love the contrast between the handmade peg, each constructed from two whittled pieces of wood, scrap metal strip, and tiny tack, against the vintage but commercially made ones, and I wanted to celebrate these subtleties in this collection.

Pippa Ryan – Pocket Collections – The Seamstress – 2024 :
This seamstress has a full afternoon’s sewing and mending ahead of her, from darning some stocking, to taking up her favourite skirt and adding a brighter buckle to her well-worn belt. There is a busy afternoon ahead of her but, with the wireless on, a fresh cup of tea and pockets full of all the bits she needs, she’s rather looking forward to it.

This unique triptych is comprised of a delicate assortment of over 200 vintage keepsakes and antique items in subtle black, white, silver and gold colour slices. And focuses on the small curios of life: the monopoly pieces that siblings used to fight over, the retro cocktail sticks that Mum always insisted on using when guests were around and treasures Grandma used to keep in her sewing box.
