Iris De La Torre is a London-based designer of vibrant, playful jewellery from acrylic, rubber, Perspex, papier-mâché, and recycled metals. Inspired by her Mexican roots, she makes each piece in her Kingston studio. She’s collaborated with the V&A, National Portrait Gallery, and Royal Mint, designing a 50p coin marking 100 years of insulin.

"Dandy" Lion Brooch made of acrylic, hypoallergenic rubber cord and two stainless steel rhodium plated brooch clasps. Brooch dimensions: 18 cm approximately.

The Kiss Brooch :
A brooch is inspired by LOVE and comes in the shape of two big red hearts kissing.
Materials: Made of bright red acrylic with striking black graphic printed eyes and a fuchsia cheek. It comes with a base metal silver plated pin bar.

Frida's Tree of Life :
This tree represents Frida Kahlo in the centre surrounded by elements of her life such as doves, flowers, leaves, magical cats that look like nahuales, a lucky ladybug, a butterfly, a watermelon and her eternal arrowed heart.This is a two part piece printed in the UK onto 600 gsm card, packaged in a cellophane bag with a cat decorated instructions label. Dimensions: 29.7 cm x 13.3 cm approximately.

Frida Short Hair Mirror :
Frida Short Hair round mirror featuring the face of Frida Kahlo with her hair cropped. This design is inspired by her 1940 self-portrait of the same name.
A new addition to this mirror is the beautiful packaging: a flying dove card printed on to 300 gsm Kraft paper which can be used as a decorative card and it makes an excellent small present or a a Christmas stocking filler. A pocket mirror is always and an essential accessory to every handbag.
