Hendrike creates jewellery, which has a clear, understated and elegant aesthetic. She is fascinated by lines and patterns and these find expression in her pieces through the application of gold patterns on silver backgrounds.
Environmental sustainability and an ethical working practice are paramount considerations in her work and guide her selection of materials, chemicals and making processes.

This long, black chain necklace and pearl tears alludes to the inflicted pain, distress and trauma suffered by women in war, whilst the tears and pain mean nothing to and are mere trophies of power for the perpetrator.
