Contemporary and ancient architecture influence my ideas alongside my passion for the natural wild landscapes of the UK and abroad which I engage with photographically and by making watercolour sketches. I view my pieces as abstract expressions which involve layering and overlapping, spaces, voids, geometric forms, gradients, steps, surfaces and windows and the space within and beyond them.
