Transforming the discarded is at the heart of Anne’s practice. Meticulously cut shapes from chipped British tableware are combined with jewellery to make magical mosaics. Anne works intuitively, guided by the pattern and design of each plate to create colourful, decorative sculptures. The chinking of cups as she works, evokes memories of tea drinking, conversations and laughter.
