Amanda Denison, jewellery artist, is inspired by decay and dilapidation and by the marks stamped on the urban environment. her pieces combine recycled precious and non-precious metals which she manipulates to create texture and enhances with patinas and enamels. Her palette is always restrained. After firing, enamels are abraded to create rich degraded surfaces which may feature rusted elements.
