Anne makes banners of trees and plants calligraphically brushed in carefully mixed pigments on a variety of Japanese papers. Anne’s intention is to convey the beauty, delight, mystery and wonder of the world’s precious plants in a format that references Shodo. Anne’s banners can be hung as stand alone pieces or arranged in installations. Anne is London based and also works to commission.
